Vision Camp 2020 UPDATE - 3

Greetings all Vision camp participants,

I hope you celebrated Easter last week with your family and friends.

Here is our latest message updating you on the status of Vision Camp 2020. As of right now, we still have not made a decision on whether to cancel Vision Camp 2020. It seems the prognosis on the future changes almost daily. One day the headlines read that infections have slowed and governments want to open. The next day the headlines read that health experts warn of a second wave of infections. It's hard to know what to do when the information seems conflicting or constantly changing. If you are like me, you wake up every day and check the news to see what is the latest. Sometimes it can feel surreal as I read about what is going in the world today. Almost as if I am watching a movie. The numbers of those affected by this epidemic are staggering. Yet behind each of those numbers is a person who is hurting and suffering. Physically, emotionally, economically. Behind each person are countless family and friends who are suffering with them. This is true for every community in the world, including our own UBF community.

Currently, our UBF co-workers around the world are suffering. Some have lost jobs or businesses. Some have contracted COVID-19 and need healing. As a community, it is important that we pray together for one another. To support this effort, UBF HQ has created the 24-7 Prayer Relay Project where we can commit to having someone in our community praying at any given moment on any given day all the time! Sign up to schedule a time where you can be part of a global movement to pray. You will be able to see in real time who is praying with you around the world.

To learn more, you can see the instructional video at To sign up, go to There you will find general and specific prayer topics, and a calendar to sign up for your time to pray and lift up the whole world in prayer. You can also submit prayer requests on the site. I encourage each of you to take part. Invite your friends to do the same. Maybe you and your Vision Camp friend(s) in other countries can commit to praying at the same time. All of us, though we are separated by distance, let's be united in prayer!

As always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions, or to simply share how you are doing. Keep calm, pray, and wash your hands!
